Chen, Mary Jialu
Doctoral Student
Mary Jialu Chen obtained both her Bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology Engineering and her Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. During her studies, she gained practical experience in a broad range of materials research areas, including catalysis and energy storage at the University of Waterloo, thin films at the University of Calgary, and polymer composite processing at the Composite Materials and Adaptive Structures Lab in ETH Zurich. Mary is now part of CMASLab, where she is conducting her PhD on the development of material systems, processing technologies, and fabrication routes for novel polymeric heart valve implants.
