Oliver obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at ETH Zürich. During his studies, he gained practical experience working on a project focused on the development of sustainable alternative for fossil fuels at the University of California Berkeley; and later as a Scientific assistant at University College London, designing a computational model to assess sustainability and economic impact of the production of platform chemical from common pollutants. After his studies, he worked at DowDuPont in the field of product regulatory, then at Haelixa (ETH Spin-off) as a Technical Project Manager where he engineered new coatings for silica nanoparticles as part of a European funded project (S4CE-H2020).
